Illinois Concealed Carry Act - What Does It Mean?

Presented by Bill Leap, Titan Security Services Inc.

In July of 2013, the Illinois legislation passed and the Governor signed the Illinois Concealed Carry Act. Beginning in January of this year, the Illinois State Police began accepting applications from individuals desiring to obtain a license to carry a concealed firearm in Illinois. The Act contains a great amount of detail and a lot of questions as to how this process works. This presentation will review the ICCA including who is eligible and who's not, what type of training is required, the application process, where you can and cannot legally carry a weapon, what you can and cannot carry, and what to expect as a result of this new legislation.
