Welcome to the Chicago Chapter of ASIS International 

ASIS International, with more than 33,000 members, is the largest international organization for those responsible for security, including managers and directors of security. In addition, our membership includes consultants, architects, attorneys, and federal, state, and local law enforcement, as well as security product and service providers whose professional efforts contribute to the safety and security of society across the globe. 

Established on September 12, 1956, the Chicago Chapter is now one of the largest chapters of ASIS International, proudly claiming over 700 members as our own.  Our members are security professionals and practitioners who represent the Chicago area's finest companies, large and small, as well as government agencies, educational institutions, and not-for-profits.  Our members are responsible for the security and life-safety programs safeguarding many of Chicago's most prominent buildings and institutions, as well as hundreds of venues where area residents live, work and play.  The Chicago Chapter of ASIS International supports these security practitioners by providing educational programs and opportunities to exchange knowledge of best practices within the field.

Volunteers Wanted:  The Chicago Chapter always welcomes members who have an interest in volunteering.  Have you ever considered being a leader of our Chapter, with an opportunity to leave your fingerprint on the direction of our Chapter's future?  Maybe you would like to ease into a less-involved volunteer role, perhaps by helping at the Golf Outing, assisting on our Scholarship or Certification committees, or helping to find speakers for our meetings.  Contact any Chapter officer today to find out how your talents can be put to good use advancing your profession.
